Ava Limberg

Ava is a 16-year-old living on a small family farm in Grand Rapids, MN. Her bold dream is to one day become an Equine or Large Animal veterinarian. She will use the Trailblazer Fellowship to train her young horse to ride and barrel race. Ava and her horse will both start barrel racing in the 2026 season. 

Ava is involved in her local 4-H club, Future Farmers of America Chapter, Saddle Club, and high school and club soccer. When she received her first grant, she used the funds to purchase a buck (male goat) and build a pen to be able to expand her small business of breeding goats and selling goat milk-based products. 

"A piece of advice I would give to a younger version of myself is to never give up on your dreams because even if it seems impossible to do it, there is always a way if you work hard for it".
