Caelynn Petersilie

Kasson, 11th grade
2025-2026 Trailblazer Fellow

Caelynn’s bold dream is to lift up others who cannot speak for themselves or are afraid to. To do this, they hope to become an advocate in the future. Their first step in this journey is to complete their Liberal Arts and Sciences degree at Rochester Community Technical College (RCTC) before they graduate high school. They will be using the Trailblazer Fellowship grant to attend three summer courses through RCTC, ensuring they finish their degree on time.

Caelynn shares that their dream has many aspects and this grant makes their future a little more clear. “This path would allow me to take the year after I graduate from high school to join AmeriCorps and work to support developing areas and struggling environments in our country as well as learning about different cultures before returning to college to complete my four-year degree in Gender, Women’s and Sexuality studies, Dance, Art History, and Native American studies.”

In their free time, Caelynn spends hours dancing for their two studios and the company they are a part of, attends CrossFit classes, and unwinds by drawing, knitting, or spending time in nature.
