June 2019 Trip To Duluth

On June 17-18 we were in Duluth to meet with like minded organizations, educators, alumnae, and supporters. We held an outreach and fundraising event at Bent Paddle on Monday the 17th, where alumnae from the Duluth area got to meet Ann Bancroft and connect with each other.

The next day, we met with multiple organizations at the Ordean Foundation, including CSS Talent Search, Mentor Duluth, Valley Youth Centers of Duluth, Story Portage, Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland, Life House, Duluth YMCA, The Duluth Playhouse, and Neighborhood Youth Services. 

Later Tuesday morning we attended the the 9th annual 21st Century Teaching and Learning Conference at The College of St. Scholastica and gave a presentation to K–12 educators on our grant programs and the importance of supporting Minnesota girls so they can imagine something bigger. ​​​​​
