Minnesota Lynx Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations Cheryl Reeve Named 2025 DreamMaker Award Honoree by Ann Bancroft Foundation

Sienna Dhariwal to Receive Rising DreamMaker Honor at Be Unapologetically You Annual Celebration on April 24

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (April 11, 2025) - The Ann Bancroft Foundation (ABF) is proud to announce Cheryl Reeve, Minnesota Lynx Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations, as the recipient of its 2025 DreamMaker Award. Reeve is a six-time WNBA champion (four with the Lynx) and holds three Olympic gold medals as part of the US Women’s National Basketball Team. She will be honored at the ABF Annual Celebration on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at The Depot in Minneapolis.

Sienna Dhariwal, a rising star and inspiring youth advocate, will also be recognized as the 2025 Rising DreamMaker, an award that celebrates the courage and vision of a young person actively shaping their own extraordinary path.

The event, which draws hundreds of supporters each year, celebrates the power of encouragement and honors those who help girl-identifying youth explore bold possibilities. This year’s theme, Be Unapologetically You, echoes the Foundation’s mission to uplift and empower Minnesota girls to pursue their dreams fearlessly.

“As a coach, leader, and mentor, Cheryl Reeve embodies the very spirit of a DreamMaker—someone who not only breaks barriers but brings others with her,” said Ann Bancroft, founder of the Ann Bancroft Foundation. “We are also delighted to honor Sienna Dhariwal, whose courage and drive reflect the future we believe in.”

The evening will include a lively program, award presentations, inspiring stories from ABF grantees, and opportunities to support the Foundation’s mission. All proceeds help fund grants and mentorship for Minnesota girls.
